Starting a new world will always be an interesting time, to say the least.
Within the first few seconds, you can tell how bad or good your pre-boss time will be.
I say that because it can be very very luck-based, you could very well get everything you could want.
Or spend 10 hours caving and get absolutely nothing.
When you first spawn, your goal should be cutting down a few trees, and possibly crafting wooden armor before going straight into the first cave you can see.
While you're caving and likely dying to a plethora of traps, bats, and zombies. You should be breaking every pot you see and looting every chest.
Locating Accessories
Gold Chests
Gold chests, are of very high priority, as these carry accessories that you will need in order to beat this game.
Your next objective is to gather ores, of which there are 4 teirs, each having 2 ores that could spawn in place of another.
Your tier 1 ores are copper (the tools you started with) and tin
The above images are both the raw materials, armor, tools, and accessories you need to hunt for. Once you have them all you can begin exploring your world
The enchanted sword shrine can be located on the outer two-thrids of the world. there is a chance or a 1 by 1 hole to appear above the shrine.
Inside the shrine you will find an enchanted sword, which will be used to fight the first few bosses in the game
When you look this shrine, there is a chance that instead of getting a standard enchanted sword, you will get a terragrim, which is a great upgrade to the enchanted sword itself.
However the chances of this happening is quite low, so do not feel disapointed if you do simply get an enchanted sword.
After aquiring your weapon, your ready to proceed to killing the first bosses of the game.
